Explore MyPhilippines: Bag of Beans, Tagaytay City

 Bag of Beans, Tagaytay City Bag of Beans is one of the must visit places in Tagaytay City. I am witness to how Bag of Beans has grown from a small coffee shop to an established dining place that it is now today.  Bag of Beans has also opened several branches along the Tagaytay City tourist stretch with six branches as of this writing. Bag of Beans caters as events venue and is one of the preferred wedding venues in Tagaytay City. Bag of Beans is also now into Bed and Breakfast accommodation. For this particular visit, me and my Family came for lunch. The food is really nice! Of course coffee and dessert after lunch is a must!  It was definitely worth the travel! Explore MyPHILIPPINES: How to Go to Antipolo, Rizal

How to get there:  Antipolo, Rizal When I planned for this road trip to Antipolo, Rizal... I did my 'how to get there' research using Google Maps. The information provided was very useful... but the actual experience using the directions I got were quite challenging.  The route I got for the direction to get there was through Bicutan (General Santos Ave), via C6 and through different intersections along the way (Taytay Diversion Road, Ortigas Avenue Extension, etc). Initially, the route looked so simple, but the actual experience was very confusing because there are intersections that are not properly marked, which led us to a different destination.  We also have to stop several times to ask for directions when we felt we are travelling towards the wrong way. So this is quite challenging to get back on track.  In any case, what I will be recommending is a simple yet I believe is the best way to get you to Antipolo, Rizal.  My point of reference here is f...

Explore MyPHILIPPINES: Badjao SeaFront Restaurant (Puerto Princesa, Palawan)

 Badjao SeaFront Restaurant Puerto Princesa, Palawan This is our first day for this weeklong Christmas holiday vacation. First stop was to our accommodations in Casa Linda which is where we headed right after landing in the Puerto Princesa airport. This is the second destination. The Badjao SeaFront Restaurant is where we had our lunch. This was a highly recommended dining place by our Tour Guide. The Badjao SeaFront Restaurant is located by the seaside, therefore you will have the cool weather from the sea. The food we ordered were mostly seafood but nothing really spectacular about it.  What I remember is the waiting time took a while before our food was served. City Tour: Baker's Hill Puerto Princesa, Palawan This visit to the Baker's Hill is part of the City Tour. The initial information I have gathered prior to our trip to Puerto Princesa, Palawan was that Baker's Hill is one of the must visit places in Palawan. Based on the name itself, I was wondering what this place will offer  aside from its cakes and pastries. Baker's Hill is quite a surprising place! I really did not expect much about this place, but what we experienced  was something different. The Baker's Hill 'Hopia' is a must try! I'm sure people who visited this place and have tried the hopia will agree! The Baker's Hill sits in a big compound with a sort of disney theme. You will also see well designed gardens, bonsai plants and several bird cages.  Here's one of the attractions, a nice space for peacocks.
